In 1994, due to the situation in Nigeria many people were looking for way to help, thus a group of ikorodu individuals decided to come together to find a way to help and hence AKD was born in November 1994. I became the President and continue until was succeeded by Dr. Ogbara,
We embark on a lot of projects in Ikorodu, and develop back to school events for AKD children in Chicago .
